James Maina Mwangi – Most stylish man in the world?

James Maina Mwangi, never heard of him? Well you will now. He is the self proclaimed most stylish man in the world. James is a man from Nairobi Kenya, he has a unique sense of style. As his style consists of bright and vibrant outfits, of which he wears on a daily basis. As you will see, which covers almost entire colour palette. Furthermore everything he has on his person is color-coordinated. Everything from his suits, to his hats, his watches and even his phone cases!

In 2018, James Maina Mwangi did a short interview with BBC. He informed them that he owns over 160 suits with 300+ caps and 200 pairs of shoes! That’s not including the amount of different accessories that he has either, such as pens and watches! He claimed that he’s the smartest looking man in Africa and also maybe the world!

His vibrant and bright colours, certainly make him stand out in the crowd, no matter where he is!

James is definitely noticeable! Especially if he is wearing a red suit, shoes, shirt, cap, handkerchief, face mask and phone case, all in red as well!

James Maina Mwangi has explained that Nairobi locals would laugh at how he is dressed. As they knew his father. A freedom fighter who was poor. This is a rather stark contrast, visually and contextually. James always wished to be different than the rest. So, his unique fashion sense was an answer that God provided him with.

Twitter user luvthispayne shared a handful of James’ photos explaining how good he looked. The thread got loads of attention. With 370,000 likes, 75,000 retweets and people discussing how he is on a different level to most with his style. James’ attention to detail and passionate dedication has swayed many on the internet.

How technology is giving hope to millions of African children who have never been to school.

Kakuma Refugee Secondary School, which gives hope for the future.

The Instant Network Schools programme, which is part of ongoing initiatives by the Vodafone Foundation are expanding to help more than five million children in sub-Saharan Africa who are marginalised and excluded from traditional education.

The Foundation supplies devices, data and tablet-based teaching programs and online education across Kenya and Somalia as well as other African countries and is working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide both primary and high school education to children in refugee camps.

Beyond the educational programme in the camps, children and teachers will now be provided with access to online learning materials with zero data charges to encourage maximum use of the online lessons through a new Instant Schools for Africa initiative.
