Kill Ben Lyk – New RED BAND TRAILER
British Dark Comedy is always a blast at the cinema and the new film Kill Ben Lyk, looks to continue that trend! It’s the debut film written and directed by Erwan Marinopoulos and stars Eugene Simon (“Game of Thrones”) and Simone Ashley (“Sex education”)
The film has had success on the international film festival circuit, Kill Ben Lyk will be out in UK Cinemas nationwide from 22nd November via ourscreen.
Plot
Multiple bullets, multiple targets, one name. Pop quiz: someone is running around London killing your namesake. What do you do? Do you run? Do you stay and fight? If you’re quasi-famous YouTuber Ben Lyk (Eugene Simon), you vlog about it and hope for the best. That is, until Scotland Yard try and sort it out, rounding him up along with every other Ben Lyk in town, keeping them holed up in a safe house that isn’t so safe. And once the Ben Lyk’s begin dropping dead one by one, it’s a mad dash to figure out why this is even happening in the first place.

Hitmen Hiring Hitmen!
This story is a little crazy, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a little fictional! A total of 5 hitmen have been jailed for attempted murder. As each one avoided carrying out of the contract themselves so they could make a profit.
Chinese businessman Tan Youhui was looking for a hitman to take out a competitor, Wei Mou. Tan was willing to pay a total of 2M yuan (£218,000) for completion of the hit. Yet the hitman that Mr Youhui hired decided to offer the job to another hitman for half of the original price. This hitman then subcontracted to another hitman (hitman #3), who then subcontracted to a 4th different hitman. Still following along? Then 4th hitman gave the job to a 5th and final hitman.
However, the 5th hitman was furious that the value of the hit had fallen so low, he went to target (Wei Mou) and asked him to fake his own death. (Not exactly a smart thing to do) This of course led to the police finding out about the plot, Beijing News reported.
Youhui and all of his comedy hitmen were all convicted of attempted murder by a court in Nanning, Guangxi, following a trail that lasted 3 years.
However, the dispute between Wei and Youhui originally began in 2013 when Wei sued real estate developer Youhui.
Sentencing of the Hitmen
The sentences were a little different for all those involved. Tan who hired the original hitman was jailed for 5 years. Xi, hitman #1 was sentenced to 3yrs and 6mnths. Yang Kangsheng (hitman #3) and Yang Guangsheng (hitman #4) were sentenced to three years and three months. Mo (hitman #2) was sentenced to 3yrs, and Ling (hitman #5) was sentenced to two years and seven months.

MIND BLOWING DEEPFAKES!
First of all this video is INCREDIBLE! While Deepfakes may be used negatively. We have recently seen online a fantastic use of DeepFakes!
Even if it is a little freaky, this DeepFake can be shown how it can be used for good….I guess?
It comes from the YouTube channel Jim Meskimen an impressionist and YouTuber. He wrote a poem and performed it in different voices. The twist?
In each different voice, the persons face was superimposed in incredible detail to his own face. While, his impressions are very very believable so if they were cut up into short clips. As outside of this piece, you could be forgiven to be thinking that they were said by the actors themselves! Jim’s impressions are very very good! Consequently, coupled with DeepFake technology this could revolutionise the impressionist community!

Using Fesshole to CONFESS!
So the main way to confess your sins is usually at the Church to your pastor or one drunken night and you have a heart to heart with your best mates. However, what if there was a way to confess to the worst things that you have done in your life. Well thanks to the internet there is a way to do it!
Diving into the Fesshole…..
Fesshole is a Twitter account which will allow all you sinful people to confess to your darkest secrets. Simply complete a Google Form and voila, you have confessed. A bot will then post the confession online for the public to read and understand. Or ridicule, gasp in horror or laugh at of course. The account was set up by Rob Manuel, the man behind Clickbait bot and Swear Clock. Fesshole all reminds us how dark and twisted every single one of us is.
Most importantly it provides us the readers, a fragile self esteem boost. As not all of us have stuck a carrot up our bum, poo’d in the shower or have their best friend want to do the dirty to their wife.
We’re not sure if all of them are true, it’s the internet after all. Yet, this is human life and life is generally stranger than fiction……
We think we’ll stick to the drunken nights out or the good ol’ pastor in the church. As at least this way it’s just one person (depending on how far your trust goes) and not the whole internet.
I got curious and stuck a carrot up my arse. Then panicked and thought my parents would notice the missing carrot so returned it to the cupboard. We ate it for dinner that night.

Bad Boys For Life – They’re back!
Bad Boys are back! Bad Boys 4 is called “Bad Boys For Life” and see’s Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles for “One Last Time” – We don’t know about you but we are PUMPED for this one and cannot wait to check out Bad Boys For Life. Let’s just hope it doesn’t disappoint, but from the looks of things, it surely won’t. As the trailer is jam packed with action and comedy, something that Bad Boys is known for and what we all fell in love with.
Furthermore the soundtrack to Bad Boys For Life is something that we are LOVING too. Overall this trailer really encompasses what Bad Boys is all about and not making it “modern” but rather a film we all love with a bit of polish.

Some of them on the account are hilarious, some of them are scary and there’s an odd couple which are quite disrespectful. But on the whole, it’s quite a harmless account. Definitely had us laughing for a good 10 minutes! How can something so simple be so funny, yet no one had thought of it yet?!
Who would you replace their chest with their face if you could? Would you replace your own chest with your face? How about faces on chests?!

Maneater
This game, as you’d expect, doesn’t take itself seriously and follows players as they level up a shark. Yes a shark. It’s called Maneater and it’s like a cross between Jaws and GTA.
You play as a large Bull Shark who has to fight off other sharks in the waters of the Gulf Coast. Simply eat everything in sight. You also have to look for the evil human who slayed your father. Much like in the movie JAWS, you have to terrorise coastal waterways and eat many different humans. Until you find the right on of course. The game is also open world, explore sunken wrecks, lurk in swamps and even cruise the open ocean. The game has deep stats to drive your path through the game, customise your shark and evolve different parts of your body.
We don’t know about you but this looks like tons of fun!
The game developers (TripWire) president John Gibson compared Maneater to GRA when fans were treated to some footage of this crazy RPG at E3 this year.
The Maneater Devs Explain
He explained the game as follows:
“The three words that we think sum up the game best are: eat, explore, and evolve. Pete is the best fisherman in the gulf, [and] he’ll tell you he’s the best shark fisherman. He disfigures our baby shark at the beginning of the game, and he does some really nasty things, so he’s not a very nice guy.
The story of Maneater is told through the lens of a reality show called ‘Sharkhunters versus Maneaters’. It’s like GTA if you were a shark.”
Gibson went on to explain that there are ‘three facets’ to this shark version of an RPG game, growth, life phases and evolutions.
“Growth comes about through eating things – nutrients, people, whatever you can find. And that’s kinda like your XP in the game; that allows you to level up, your shark will grow a little bit, he’ll get more powerful. Then at key phases we call ‘life phases’, you’ll make a big jump.
As you reach these life phases, you unlock evolutions, which can be applied to parts of the shark’s body. For example, you could get metallic teeth that’ll allow you to shred boats, or a powerful tail that allows you to jump to incredible heights.
Or you could get mutated lungs that allow you to spend a little more time on the beach getting those afternoon snacks.”
The E3 2019 trailer takes players through the Gulf Coast, you’ll progress from a small baby bull shark to a full grown beast. The story? Well Scaly Pete is a Fisherman who is seeking revenge for the death of his father. You guessed it. By a HUGE shark!
