Apple announced several new products including a brand new product entirely during their Peak Performance event on March 8th. The first thing they introduced was a new colour to the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max line up. A sophisticated Alpine Green!

Apple’s most affordable iPhone got an upgrade, with the A15 Bionic, 5G, much better battery life. Better Durability and a new camera system. Which compes complete with Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles and Deep Fusion.

The iPhone SE comes in the compact and durable design, a beautiful 4.7″ display, which runs on iOS15 too. All with the performance of the A15 Bionic. Helping to deliver a new and improved advanced 12MP camera capabilities, gaming and augmented reality. Plus the 5G, longer battery life helps make this the best most affordable phone from Apple yet. Furthermore how can we forget the incredible IP67 water and dust resistance too!

Peak Performance: iPad Air gets the M1 Treatment.

The iPad Air got a big upgrade on the inside. During the Peak Performance event Apple introduced the latest iPad Air with an Apple-designed M1 chip! Which is a huge increase in performance. It features a new Ultra Wide front camera with Centre Stage. A USB C port for 2x faster transfer speed and 5G on cellular models.

The new iPad Air is available to order beginning Friday, March 11, and will be in stores beginning Friday, March 18.

M1 Brings a Massive Leap in Performance to iPad Air

The iPad Air now has incredible power efficiency and an all day battery life. With the M1 being an 8-core CPU helping to deliver up to 60% faster performance. Plus the 8-Core GPU of the M1 delivers up to 2x faster graphics performance over the previous model.

Combined the CPU and GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine which powers advanced machine learning. Which helps to enable next-level experiences. Centre Stage comes to the iPad Air thanks to the new Ultra Wide Front Camera which is 12MP. It will automatically keep users in the centre and automatically pan as they move around. While when others join, the camera detects them too and will smoothly zoom out to include them in the conversation.
While the 12MP Wide camera on the back will let users capture sharp photos and 4K video, scan documents in and enjoy AR experiences.

Apple unveils all-new Mac Studio and Studio Display

Apple introduced 2 BRAND NEW products with the Mac Studio and the Studio Display. The Mac Studio is an entirely new Mac desktop and display. Mac Studio is powered by the M1 Mac and the brand new M1 Ultra, the world’s most powerful chip. It is the first computer to deliver unprecedented level of performance. It includes an extensive array of connectivity. Completely new capabilities and all in a compact design. The M1 Ultra can easily play back 18 streams of ProRes video and render massive 3D environments.

While the Studio Display is an expansive 27″ 5K Retina display, a 12MP Ultra Wide camera with Centre Stage and a 6 speaker sound system with spatial audio.

They join the Mac lineup, and are available to order today, arriving to customers beginning Friday, March 18.

The Mac Studio is a square footprint of 7.7″ and has a height of 3.7″, super small! It is so small it fits under most displays. So, the M1 Ultra can play back 18 streams of 8K ProRes 422 video. Mac Studio also shatters the limits of graphics memory on a desktop. It has 64GB of unified memory on systems with the M1 Max and up to 128GB of unified memory on systems on the M1 Ultra. While most powerful graphics card on the market today only has 48gb of video memory. Futhermore the SSD in the Mac Studio delivers up to 7.4GB/s of performance and a memory capacity of up to 8TB.

Connectivity within Easy Reach

On the back of the Mac Studio there is 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports to connect displays and high-performance devices, a 10gb Ethernet port, 2 USB A ports, an HDMI port. Futhermore a pro-audio jack for high-impedance headphones or external amplified speakers. While there is also Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 built in.

Furthermore there is ports on the front for more convenient access. Such as 2 USB C ports, which on M1 Max supports 10Gb/s USB 3. While on M1 Ultra it supports 40Gb/s Thunderbolt 4. There is also an SD card slot on the front. The Mac Studio also allows up to 4 Pro Display XDRs, plus a 4K Tv, driving nearly 90 million pixels.

Studio Display is amazing, an all-screen design, narrow borders and a reigned all-aluminium enclosure. All housing an advanced set of features. There is a stand which can tilt up to 30 degrees. There is also a Studio Display which also offers a tilt and heigh option, with a counterbalancing arm. Making the display feel weightless as it’s adjusted. Furthermore there is a VESA mount adapter. Which also supports landscape and portrait mode.

Immersive 27-inch 5K Retina Display

The Studio Display is 5K Retina screen with 14.7 million pixels. It has 600 nits of brightness, P3 wide colour and a support for over 1 billion colours. Making things come to life with spectacular detail. While True Tone is included and automatically adjusts the display’s colour temperature as the environment changes for a more natural viewing experience. The display also has an industry leading anti-reflective coating enables low reflectivity for better comfort and readability. For workspaces with bright light sources there is an option to have nano-texture glass option. Nano-texture glass, first introduced on Pro Display XDR, scatters light to further minimise glare while delivering outstanding image quality.

Sensational Camera and Audio System

The display has an A13 Bionic Chip, helping to power the 12MP Ultra Wide Camera with Centre Stage. Helping to keep users in the middle of the frame.

Studio Display also includes a studio-quality, 3-microphone array. While it has an especially low noise floor for crystal clear calls for voice recordings. The display has a high-fidelity 6 speaker sound system. Four force-cancelling woofers minimise distortion and produce bold, articulate bass, two high performance tweeters helping to create accurate mids and crisp highs. The speakers also support spatial audio for music and video with Dolby Atmos, creating a truly cinematic viewing experience.

Seamless Connectivity – Peak Performance

The Studio Display has 3 USB-C ports which help to deliver up to 10Gb/s to connect high-speed peripherals, storage and networking right into the display. While a Thunderbolt port to help connect Studio Display and connect accessories with just a single cable. The same cable delivers 96W power to a Mac notebook, which would even fast charge a 14 inch MacBook Pro. You can also connect up to 3 Studio Displays.
