There is a real possibility that we will soon see Robots not only making other robots but designing them too. A report by Global Futurist has stated that this act of robots making other robots is called “Generative Design” and we will see a future where products and services are created and designed by robots themselves in some sort of scary, but also cool, Robot Circle of life.

All wine contains sulfites, which are artificial preservatives added during production. They are no longer needed once the bottle is opened.
Proprietary polymer technology filters away free sulfites and their bitter taste, while allowing other compounds in wine to flow through unaffected.
Through Selective Sulfite Capture™, free sulfites are reduced to a more naturally occurring level for most wines.
Breathe life into reds, or maintain the balance of whites. Twist the aerator on or off to suit your preference.
The Üllo purifier is designed to fit on top of a variety of wine glasses.
Made from hand-blown glass, the Üllo carafe and decanter are the perfect fit.

We want to share with you an incredible new gadget from a company called Deciwatt, they’re the 2015 winner of Shell’s Springboard programme and it’s called GravityLight. GravityLight is a gravity powered lamp which uses the earth’s gravitational pull to create light. How? Here’s how:
A bag of rocks is attached to the light via a strap, then as they fall to the earth the strap pulls on some gears which then drives an electric generator which powers a bright LED bulb and the gravitational pull is able to give continuous light for 20minutes. The beauty of this device? It will never run out of battery and the bulb will last a VERY long time. The device is aimed at combatting the energy expense in the developing worlds and as there are no running costs of these lights, the only payment is for the purchase of GravityLight and then it will last for years.
The reason for GravityLight? The ability to provide easy light to those that need it most in places such as Kenya. Following a second successful spell with crowdfunding the GravityLight foundation is now on a 50 Night Tour across 50 Villages in Kenya. What’s really great about this is that people in these villages regularly use a harmful lamp called Kerosene, with the GravityLight it provides safe and clean energy to the people of Kenya.

This is what we like to see here at How To Kill An Hour, some really cool way to do the things that we wish we could do ten years ago.
Thanks to GPS Tracking and Remote locking a would be thief got a rude awakening (he stole the car and then slept in it) when he stole a BMW 550i, which had been left in an underground car park with spare keys inside *facepalm* Seattle Police contacted BMW at their local head office and had it tracked, it is here where Seattle Police found the culprit asleep in the vehicle – had it remotely locked and then woke him up.
They then blocked him in so he couldn’t drive off (he tried to) and arrested him.
Hooray for technology! Just hopefully the owner remembers to not put spare keys to his car, in his car.
