You wake up with no memory, no idea where you are and how you got there.
Walk around the mysterious abandoned asylum, following instructions from ‘Red’.
The game’s story involving the perception of reality was heavily inspired by films such as The Matrix and The Butterfly Effect.
In Get Even the player assumes the role of a man named Cole Black – private detective and merciless mercenary. One day, Black wakes up in an old, devastated asylum. His memory is a clean sheet – the only thing he can remember is a failed attempt at saving a young girl who had been held captive with explosives attached to her body.
In order to retrieve his memory and understand his past, Black has to journey into the depths of his own mind. This is possible thanks to a device resembling a virtual reality headset, which can read its user’s memories and let him relive them. Guided by his kidnapper—a mysterious Red—the hero delves into the past, trying to tell the truth from lies and real memories from deceptive visions. Black must hurry with solving the mystery behind the girl’s death before he loses the grip on reality and shares the fate of Red’s previous captives.
Get Even was initially planned to release on May 26th 2017. However, publisher Bandai Namco decided to delay the release date one month out of respect for the victims of the bombing at a concert in Manchester, England.

The Shimon robot has learned organically how to play music! As well as being incredibly cool, this robot goes some way to explaining how artificial intelligence can be creative!
Initially the robot had to learn more than 5,000 songs, 2 million motifs & rifs, it’s from this information that the Shimon learned how to compose music by using deep learning techniques to create two 30 second pieces of original pieces.
Researchers at Georgia Tech say that the music that the Shimon creates are a mix between jazz & classical, describing it as ‘soothing’ As well as utilizing deep learning the Shimon also uses a camera on its head to detect which notes to play.

In the next few months there could be a major shake up on the internet, a US government body is looking to ban net neutrality.
Net Neutrality: The basic right internet users have to access websites equally.
However giants such as Amazon and Reddit have spoken out against the move. Scrapping net neutrality would mean Internet Service Providers would make lots of money, whilst websites themselves wouldn’t benefit whatsoever. Directly affecting their business.
There’s currently an international protest against these proposed changes, as they could have an effect on internet freedom around the world.

Autonomous Taxi’s which don’t require a human as back up are one step closer to becoming reality after a test programme was announced which would trial these “on demand, driverless services” on public roads from next year.
Delphi and Transdev are looking to launch 2 Renault “Zoe” autonomous taxi’s in Rouen, Normandy and a shuttle van between a rail station and a campus in the University district of Paris-Saclay to trial this super cool scheme. During the scheme there’ll be drivers behind the wheel to take over if any problems arise, but the plan is to phase out behind the wheel drivers for employees at a central dispatch location to watch over journey’s and take over from there, manually if required.

Drone Racing League’s incredible finale took place at London’s Alexandra Palace on Tuesday June 13th where professional drone pilots, fully equipped with VR goggles giving them real time footage of what the drone is seeing, putting you the viewer and the pilots at the heart of the action, racing through various obstacles and paths at speeds over over 130 KPH! It seems complicated but the pro’s at the controls made it look incredible easy!
